Life Journey

One Step at a Time

Hi All! I hope you are enjoying the summer, and taking in all the glorious sunshine! (Because I know I sure am)

Life is not always butterflies and rainbows, like we wish it would be. We hit mountains, and climbing them seems damn near impossible. We all experience hardships throughout our lives, and finding peace and happiness in our lives again seems unimaginable.

But wait, it is possible. This is where todays post stems from. I am currently climbing over the biggest mountain in my life and I want to share with you my journey and help find that peace and happiness in life again.

When we hit a mountain in life it is easy to take on the negative, “I can’t do it” mind set, but this is where it all needs to change. Ditch the negative mindset and start saying “I CAN do it”.

No one said climbing the mountain was going to be easy. It will take hard work, determination, and time. If there is one thing I have learned on my journey it’s healing takes time. You can not rush it. Just like you can not climb that mountain with just one step. It takes many steps; one right after the other.

With each step you are one step closer to tackling that mountain. Some days you may take 10,000 steps forward and others only 10, but no matter how far you go you are still one step closer.

When darkness arises in our lives it’s hard to see the light again, but remember it takes time. Climbing a mountain is a process, just like life. We must take each day one step at a time, and let life do it’s thing.

No matter the hardship you may be experiencing, know you are not alone. It is a natural part of life and things will get better. Remember to give it time and take everything one day at a time.

If you are currently climbing a mountain in your life, I’d love to hear your journey. Feel free to comment below or send me message!

Until next time….

  1. We should also keep in mind that after every hardship usually comes something really good. Let that sink for a moment. In my life, there was not a single time that I gained nothing extraordinary from a hardship. We, humans, fail to think of the long game and as a result, focus too much on what is happening right now. That’s why we should adopt the mindset you mention in your post. Great message!
