Hello everyone! I know I have gone AWOL for quite some time now. It has been such a long time since I have written to you all. I took some time to enjoy these last few weeks of 2018. The end of my semester was crazy, and it was nice being able to have the opportunity to relax, spending quality time with family and friends, especially during the holidays. But, no worries you’ll be sure to hear a lot from me in the new year.
As 2018 comes to an end, and a new year approaches us I wanted to take some time to not only reflect on this past year but bring light to the new one.
2018 was a roller coaster rides of highs, lows, twists and turns in every direction. But, I am thankful for every opportunity and situation which approached me. They shaped me into who I am today. Leading me into 2019 feeling enlightened and more excited than ever for what the future might hold, but I am still continue to enjoy the present moment!
As I go into the new year, I wanted to have a word. A word that would define my year. A word which describes ,my life now, but also one which motivates me. That word is…
As you all might already know, I am currently in route to Hawaii as I will be completing my 5 week clinical rotation for physical therapy school on the island of Maui.
I am still in awe I am spending 5 weeks in paradise, but I am beyond grateful I have the incredible opportunity to share my experiences with you all!
What better way to start off the year than on the most extraordinary adventure.
I wish for 2019 to be filled with wonderful new adventures. Not all as big as packing up and going to Hawaii for 5 weeks, but even the smallest of things can be the greatest adventure of all.
I hope to try new things, experience new places, new people, branch outside of comfort zone and experience everything this world has to offer. Living in the here and now I hope to find adventure in everyday.
What do you want more of in your life? How will you define your upcoming year? What will your word be for the New Year?
For me that was adventure in the current moment, no matter what twist and turn life puts me on.
I wish you all a Happy New Year and you’ll be sure to hear from me soon, in the world of paradise!
